Malcolm Maidwell started Tri-Sport in 1992 from his living room at home. Cycling was booming and Malcolm had recently developed a love of triathlons, which meant many weekend trips to Puerto Rico to stock up on parts for him and his friends who had joined him in his passion for multi sports. His bike of choice was Trek, so he visited the factory in Wisconsin where was greeted with open arms and welcomed as one of Trek’s new dealers in the Caribbean.

Along with his daughter, Susy, they ran the business from home until two months later when answering yet another customer’s call for a tube at 9pm, they made the decision to move to their current location in Simpsonbay.
