TRI-SPORT TEAM PLACES 3RD AT 2008 RELAY
Hello Everyone,
The news of the week is of course the incredible turn out for this year’s 21st ‘Round the Island Relay Race. Sixty teams came out in full force which made for some great energy, and even greater traffic jams. All part of the chaos of St. Maarten’s Day! Thanks you Road Runners for a most excellent day!
The overall results are on our site, and the splits of each individual leg will be available within a few days, so hold tight!
We are very proud of our Tri-Sport team this year! Our 3rd place finish proved to us that we should use the same formula next year: DON’T TRAIN AT ALL! HA!
This Sunday grab your paddles and come down to Kim Sha Beach for the annual 21K Kayak Race. There will also be a shorter 5K course for the Fun Class! If you need a kayak, please contact us as we have doubles and singles available from Port de Plaisance. Read on below in this week’s schedule for more info in regards to the course and the registration.
Please come out tomorrow morning, Saturday, to help with cleaning up Bellevue for the off road runners and cyclists. Hurricane Omar really made a mess of the trails and there is still lots of clearing needed before we can enjoy this beautiful area once again. More details below!
