
Event Details
Each athlete must complete the distances 4 times in a sequence: 400m swimming followed by 2km running in its entirety.
Bring clothing suitable for swimming and running (trisuit or comfortable outfit: swimsuit, shorts and running shoes). Going bare-chested is prohibited. Individuals must bring a basin of water to position in the transition zone (rinsing the feet out of the water for a running sequence). An area will be set up for individual athletes.
For team relays of 2 people: one swims and the other runs. The 2 teammates maintain the same discipline from the start to the end of the event. A specific area will be marked to allow handovers (claps) without disturbing individual athletes.
For your safety, a swimming cap will be given to you (during the briefing) It must be worn during each swimming session in order to better identify yourself on the water. The distance must be swum in full each time while respecting the requested circuit: Go around the buoys in the direction of the circuit: do not go under the buoy or cut the course. Depending on the fault, a penalty and/or disqualification may be applied. No flotation aids are permitted such as neoprene wetsuits or leggings, pool buoys, pads during the swimming event. Allowed are: swimsuit; trisuit; swimskin, hat and glasses.
Running course: Athletes must complete the 2km course designated by colored arrows on the ground and by the flaggers at the crossroads. An athlete not following the course will be disqualified. The athlete or relay who has not completed one of the events will not be able to claim their ranking.

The competition pass for the race called "AQUATHLON SHELLONA" must be purchased by non-FFTRI licensees. This must be sent as an attachment to the registration form.
